Here are a few wonderful memories from Fountain Fest 2015, held September 19th at the Garfield Park Sunken Garden.
It was a sunny afternoon and evening in Garfield Park as the Friends of Garfield Park hosted the 2nd Fountain Fest on Saturday, September 19th in the Park’s Sunken Gardens. Attendees listened to the sounds of Free But Not Cheap, the Horseshoe Pipes and Drums, Filter Kings and Cathy Morris.
In total, organizers saw an increase of 40% over last year’s attendance and with the addition of City Barbeque, Greenwood, Sun King Brewing Company and promotion partner WTTS, a solid foundation was laid for the future. Also, new to the event this year was a decoration contest of event Chalet’s that was a big hit! All were winners!
Funds raised from the event go to support the Friends of Garfield Park, Inc.. If you or someone you know would like to get involved with Fountain Fest 2016, contact Mark Bowell @ 317-840-8111.
