Our Work

Celebrate Garfield Park on Giving Tuesday, Dec 1st

The Friends of Garfield Park  is asking for your support

to finish strong for our  2020 campaign!

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

Visit our FB page on Tuesday,  December 1st and  look for  links to the private GT fundraisers hosted by our FOGP Board members and Garfield Park Neighbors. Send the Park some LOVE!  By the way…one of the bonuses of a far-reaching Giving Tuesday campaign on Facebook is the opportunity it presents for our work on behalf of Garfield Park to gain exposure among a wider audience. So we’d be honored if you would take time on Tuesday, to like and share our GT posts and tag your friends and family too! Especially those who have joined you for special events, concerts, fireworks, and picnics in Garfield Park.

It is reported that the park receives over 400,000 visitors per year. If only 10%  of all visitors gave a small gift this Tuesday, FOGP could support twice the programming and preservation!
