The Earth Day Indiana Festival at Garfield Park on June 6th created the perfect back drop for celebrating a life well-lived.
A Juneberry Tree has been planted in Blake’s Garden to commemorate. Plus, the BlakeStrong Bowell and the FOGP organizations are honored to partner through funds to support maintenance and supplemental staffing of Blake’s Garden. Blake’s Children’s Garden is a hub of activity all summer long and even after the kiddos go back to school.
A special thank you to the BlakeStrong Bowell organization for honoring Blake Bowell’s legacy with the Friends of Garfield Park on the 4th anniversary of his passing.
Blake loved Garfield Park and volunteering in the Sunken Gardens. We know Blake is smiling down on us today!
